“I try to do my homework as soon as I get home, so that I can go out and play football in the garden with my dad when he gets home.”

Homework

Homework is an important continuation of the college day that enables students to consolidate their learning and explore their own ideas.  It also helps students develop their independent learning skills.

Students are expected to do between 60 and 90 minutes of homework each night, depending on their age and ability. Each student can complete their own unique homework timetable in their student planner.

Parents are asked to check their child’s homework and sign the homework section of the organiser each week.  Students who do not have a computer or access to the internet at home are welcome to use the college computers until 4.30pm.
