Specialist School Status
In July 2010, John Ferneley College was granted Business and Enterprise Specialist School Status through the Specialist Schools Programme.
The College has huge strengths in the areas of Business and Enterprise, not least our dedicated Enterprise Learning Zone, which offers specialist facilities for teaching Technology subjects (Food, Electronics and Design Technology), Business Studies and ICT. By being recognised as a Specialist School in this area, the College benefits from private and Government funding for new equipment and opportunities, as well as further enrichment of the curriculum.
