Primary School Project - Drama/ADT Thursday 19th & Friday 20th October 2006 On Thursday 19th and Friday 20th October, a cast of 41 pupil from John Ferneley's Drama Club, toured a number of Primary Schools in the Melton area, performing young children's stories. The Art Club had also worked extremely hard to produce props, masks and other interesting items (including a toilet!) to help to bring these stories to life. The children at Brownlow, Ab Kettleby, Birch Wood, St Mary's, Old Dalby and The Grove, were treated to 'The Enormous Turnip', 'Boo', 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt' and 'The three Little Pigs'. It was a delight to watch the faces of the children and young people in these audiences and to witness the talent, teamwork and professionalism of the Ferneley students. The whole tour was a creative, entertaining and enjoyable learning experience for all those involved!
